I am a poet and short fiction writer. My first full-length poetry collection, Catch, was published by Redbeck Press in August 2007. I write mainly on themes of relationships, the body and landscape. I have been a member of the respected Midlands-based Inky Fish poetry group since 1994.
I am an experienced workshop leader. I have led creative writing workshops with adults, children and young people. I have also worked with a wide range of groups with specific needs, including mothers and toddlers, rural groups, male offenders, and older people. I have a warm, gentle and friendly approach which lends itself well to education and community settings, but also enjoy leading workshops for more experienced writers.
