I've been a member of the Inky Fish poetry group since 1994. Inky Fish is a group of professional and semi-professional poets.
We received an Arts Council grant in 2006 for a group reading tour of the East Midlands, during which different combinations of poets performed at a wide range of venues, presenting 'conversations' of poems on identified themes.
We're a small, private group, who meet once a month at each others' homes. Each poet brings a poem to the meeting, which we subject to ruthless critical commentary!
Inky Fish members are available to book, individually or collectively, for readings and performances; many of us also offer creative writing workshops.
